Our churches are full to the brim with hidden histories – and none more so than Ynyscynhaiarn in North Wales. A modest grave in the churchyard of this fine 18th century church, sited at the end of a dramatic causeway, belies a tale of abduction, romance and a glimpse into a very different age.
