In 1946, an RAF Lancaster bomber crashed during a training flight. It landed on Templewood, a property close to St Mary of the Angels, Brownshill. Templewood was a spiritual retreat founded by nurses who had suffered PTSD after the Great War. Dr Alec Hamilton explores the founding of this Arts & Crafts chapel in the Cotswolds, leading up to this tragic event.
