Fundraising for the Friends

Dr Emily Guerry is senior lecturer in medieval history, a runner,  a devoted churchcrawler, and a member of the Friends. Keenly aware of the pressures facing so many churches and charities, Emily has chosen to fundraise for the Friends. In her words,  I'm going to fundraise for the Friends of Friendless Churches because I want to do what I can to ensure that these heritage sites continue to survive, providing places of succour and solace for future generations.

Emily has set up a JustGiving page, and in a few short weeks has already raised almost £2,000!  Go, Emily!!

We are so touched my Emily's support and truly bowled over by the generosity of those who have donated. Our most heartfelt thanks to you all.
Emily will be running the Battersea Park 5k on 5th June, so there is still plenty of time to donate! To read Emily's story (she posts regular progress updates with nice photos of churches) - and support her campaign - click on the image below.

Thank you!

We are so grateful for all of fundraisers. The people who believe in our cause, who love these places and want them to survive.

We run our charity on a shoestring - putting every possible penny into repairing and rescuing historic churches. This comes with considerable financial challenges, and we are only able to do this work with support from our members, donors, legators and volunteers.

Thank you all so much.
