Twitter Photo Competition for Church Tourism Week

We’re proud partners of Church Tourism Week this year and to celebrate we’re giving away two copies of our book, ‘Saving Churches’, to the best photo of a Friends church shared with us on Twitter during the week. Church Tourism Week runs from 20th-29th July 2018, so we’ll be accepting entries from midnight on the 20th until 11.59pm on 29th July. Half of our churches are in Wales, so we’re giving away one prize for the loveliest English church photo and one for the finest Welsh one. It can be a photo of anything at the church you love and you think other people might too - inside or out, in the churchyard, from the gate or even a long view of the church in the landscape.

Simply tweet the photo (taken by you) with the hashtag #friendscomp and tag us @friendschurches to enter. You can submit more than one photo, so if you’re planning a round trip to several of our churches that week – we’d love to see your photos! And don’t worry if your photo was taken a while ago – share it with us and you’ll be in with a chance of winning a gorgeous book worth £20!

Church Tourism Week is organised by the Churches Conservation Trust. Find out more about the campaign and events near you https://www.visitchurches.org.uk/what-s-on/church-tourism-week.html
